Restoration & Cleaning
Hand-knotted rugs are repairable in ways machine-made ones are not — worn edges, thin patches and old stains can usually be put right. Bring us a piece and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing.

A commissioned rug is made for one room. You give us the dimensions and the palette; the weaving is done by hand in a traditional workshop, in the technique the design calls for.
Hand-weaving takes the time it takes, and that varies with size, knot density and the complexity of the pattern. We will tell you the range before you commit, and keep you posted as the work progresses rather than leaving you to wonder.
Send the dimensions and the palette you have in mind. We will confirm what is feasible, what the weaving involves, and how long it will be before the rug reaches you.

Sit down with us about a room before you buy for it. We look at dimensions, light and how the space is actually used, then narrow the collection to what suits it — in person in Tehran, or with photographs and measurements from anywhere.
